Jocelyn Cruz obtained her B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and currently serves as a lab coordinator for STRIVE (Students Rising Above). Beyond her research role, Jocelyn is actively involved in mental health advocacy through her work with the Bruin Mental Health Advisory Committee (BMHAC) and as a volunteer for the Crisis Text Line. She has a strong interest in community-based work, particularly in supporting the mental health of people of color from clinical and structural perspectives. Jocelyn plans to further pursue these passions in graduate school.
